What the heck is Co-sulting anyway?

It’s new…

It’s fresh…

It’s really just a word I made up…

BUT it’s a word I needed to make up to describe the gap I see between ‘consulting’ services and ‘coaching’ services.

Co-sulting is a cross between consulting and coaching, but why?

Well, frankly, because I believe there shouldn’t be a gap between the ideas of consulting with someone on their marketing needs and coaching them through it.

I’m into helping, so I don’t want to tell you what you should be doing and not be there to help you get through it.  It just doesn’t seem, well, cool.

It’s scary enough letting someone come in and tear into your business, your baby and tell you all the things you should fix, and then write it out and give you an invoice.  See ya!  Good luck!

Not that cool, really.

Wouldn’t it be loads more fun to have someone come in, tear into your business, tell you all the things you should fix, and then hold your hand while you dig in and do it?  Much better I think.  Everyone needs someone to help them get through stuff… sometimes I talk to my dogs but they aren’t very helpful…

So rather than talk to your dogs… you can talk to me!

Why me?

Why not… okay that’s a beer commercial.

But really, after 17+ years of helping people, including myself, start and run successful businesses… I’ve been through a lot.  I have the scars to prove it!

Most importantly, I have all that brain stuff that goes along with doing something over and over.  From automotive widgets to building widgets to design widgets to online widgets, I’ve been through it.  Starting, operating, administrating, marketing, managing, etc.  All still running, all still profitable and all still kicking.

The really cool part is, I really enjoy it.  I love it.  Helping people get started and grow their businesses is the best.  And it’s fun!
